SOLUTIONS FOR BUILDERS
,
Transform decision-makers into approvers quickly and efficiently.
Take the complexity out of your project discussions and reduce risk by communicating with a physical display. Models can build trust and understanding of a site, large-scale building addition, or phased construction. Explore more
Collaboration with your team and beyond
Physical models promote communication among your team, potential clients, stake holders and design review boards. The process is simple. Send us your Revit, Sketchup, or CAD data and we will produce a 3d model that meets your needs and the demands of your discussions. Models can help you stay agile and reference real world context, without costly redesign once construction is underway.
Input & Processing
Our team of project managers optimizes your data sets and geometry for 3d printing or CNC machining. We can create “water-tight” and 3d print ready files from Navisworks, Infraworks and AutoCad Civil as well as Revit, Microstation and point cloud data.
Collaboration & Workflow
Communication is a key part to our successful workflow at LGM. As production is underway, your project manager will inform and involve you at each step of the 3d print process. We appreciate that you have your own schedule and client demands, too, and will keep all communication transparent and concise.
Visualize the entire site
Physical models are impactful. Whether you are in the initial pitch for a client bid interview, or are in the construction stages for ground breaking, any representation of your design needs to look polished and professional. The LGM Team has an in-depth understanding in multiple production methods, and distills this knowledge to provide the best 3d printed model possible.
Print, Mill, Refine, Assemble
All of the 3d models we develop incorporate several forms of production methodology. This could include 3d printing, CNC machining, laser etching, or traditional hand finishing and assembling techniques. Each one of these methods is crucial in developing a cohesive and impression-worthy 3d model presentation.
Package & Ship
With the effort and time needed to forge your model into existence, we want to make sure it arrives safely at your door. LGM ships both domestically and internationally every year. Every model is thoughtfully wrapped, packaged, and insured before being sent on its way.
Model Types
Visualizations can range from single building models to complex, interactive concept models with multiple parts.
3D Print Visualization
With LGM’s emphasis in the AEC industry, our in-house 3d printing capabilities allow us to turnaround tailored model solutions quickly to meet your needs. 3d models explaining construction, expansion, renovation or phase strategies complement any meeting material already generated as well. From single commercial buildings to complex campus models with multiple parts, let our team do some of the heavy lifting for you.
Site & Terrain Models
Site comprehension is as important as constructing the building itself, so we offer specific model services to address this area. By utilizing a 3d model, project extents, context, and access are clear between multiple sectors. If the building and terrain relationship requires explanation, let the display act as a guide for modeling excavation or reclamation purposes.
Concept & Massing Models
Construction discussions are easier and more efficient with concept models. Their informal, open-ended appeal promotes design advancement, analysis, and approval. These can be used for initial site discussions or building envelope considerations. They can also be used to reconcile construction phases or design iterations. Overall, massing models can help pave the way to understanding and the ultimate success of a project.
Sales & Construction Displays
Visualize your project to the fullest extent with a sales model or construction aid. Residential or commercial pre-sales can be achieved easier and reduce the amount needed to finance. Sales models can ground the project in the real world prior to even breaking ground, acting as a reliable source for communication between sales, clients, and construction entities. These high-detail sales aids can also offer a cohesive view of larger planned communities or resorts.
