Dynamo Playground’s Quad Pod is an innovative climbable spinner, but the special features of the design are difficult to describe in 2D renderings. LGM was tasked to bring the design to life by engineering a scaled version of the climber for their trade show events. When the model was not in use, it would be stowed in a rigid case for safe transport and storage.
By integrating an adjustable spin speed and remote controlled LED lights, the display is engaging, interactive, and eye catching. LGM engineered a bespoke mechanism that controlled each of the four pods, and their spin acted independently of the rotating base. The final product is a one-of-a-kind trade show event diaroma.
