LGM was excited to get on board when approached to create a full color display of a new residential project: Frontgate at Avon. The Frontgate team needed a well designed showpiece for their opening sales center, but it needed to be done quickly and for an agreed upon budget.

KH Webb was custom designing a residential home in Vail CO. Their clients are avid outdoors people, and enjoyed the year round recreating available in the Vail Valley. The architect wanted to incorporate a custom trail map into their dedicated ski room. The map needed to feature an expansive area, including Vail Mountain’s ski runs, and local hiking trails.

As the year’s long development effort of Snowmass Base Village came to a close, the East West Partners wanted a celebratory way to commend the efforts of the Development Managing Team. The intent was to create an aesthetically unified ornament set that pays homage to the vision, commitment, and success of the project over the last ten years. The individual sets were to come in custom branded gift packaging featuring the individual logos of each building.

While the main Snowmass Base Village Sales Gallery model served as a hub for their new residential development sales, East West Partners wanted to showcase SBV’s success at their various properties throughout the Village. They wanted a smaller format model that attracted attention of prospective clients, passer bys, and guests alike. Each Satellite Sales Station would need to blend into the interior design of its surroundings as well.

A private client was looking for a bespoke center piece to have in their living room that enhanced their love of skiing and understanding of the terrain. Vail Mountain is a dense tapestry of ski runs and back bowls, so it was clear that the map needed to have three dimensionality. The family wanted to gather around this at the end of a ski day, so we had the opportunity to play with size and scale.
