Unique 3D Printed Awards & Gifts
Land Trust Conservation Recognition
The Eagle Valley Land Trust wanted to honor a long time member of their efforts by creating a new award called the Steinberg Conservation Leadership Award. This 3d relief award needed to incorporate GIS data, high resolution imagery, and parcel outlines that the Land Trust has so far conserved in their efforts. The final product was meant to be displayed on a desk or mount to a wall.
While data overlay proved to be challenging, LGM was able to incorporate all of the GIS elements the client needed in a comprehensive color 3D printed relief map. Each parcel was filled and outlined for high visibility. The award was then mounted to a finished walnut frame. To add to its modern display aesthetic, a floating protective acrylic panel was etched with recipient information.
